Working Student - Modelling and controlling e-machine and inverter - Power Electronics (m/f/d)

YOUR TEAM
To support our Power Electronics team, we are currently looking for a working student. In your role you get first-hand experience in developing state of the art power electronics and will be an integral part of the team that works on controlling the e-machine and inverter. Our deliverables include machine control, application software within power electronics, cross-connected software for vehicle functionalities, as well as core functions to drive the ECU across the Volkswagen Group product portfolio. We enable future innovations, provide best-in-class driving experiences, and make a significant contribution to the overall driver experience. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Developing of model-based embedded software in the field of power electronics
- Modelling, simulation and controlling of the electrical behavior of the e-machine and inverter
- Documentation of work products
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled Master´s student in the field of computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, electrical machine control or similar
- Knowledge about model-based function development with MATLAB/Simulink
- Knowledge about power electronics and control of electrical machines
- Fluent in English and German
- Team-minded, communicative, willingness to learn
NICE TO KNOW
- Remote work options within Germany
- Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend up to two years)
- 20 hours/week, up to 35 hours/week during the semester break
- Salary: 17,80€/hour
