Wind Site Operations Manager - Degelis (3 hours from Quebec)
As a Wind Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operations of a service site, ensuring optimized performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will lead a team to promote the organization’s core values and ensure optimal performance in their respective functions. Your key responsibilities will include leadership in health and safety, operational efficiency, financial performance, and client account management. You will also be responsible for resolving technical issues, managing budgets, and maintaining optimal wind turbine performance.
Responsibilities
- Foster a health- and safety-focused environment on-site, encouraging continuous improvement in safety performance
- Develop and engage your team to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of wind farms
- Build strong partnerships with clients to ensure contractual commitments are met
- Manage costs rigorously to meet service contract budget targets
- Plan preventive maintenance and failure analysis activities to optimize turbine performance
Skills
- Strong management skills, including financial management and organizational performance assessment
- Experience in coaching and team engagement
- Knowledge of health and safety programs, practices, and procedures
- Highly motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to solve problems and continuously improve processes
- Experience in budget and project management
- Ability to negotiate and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Qualifications

2–3 years of management experience in a related service sector

Availability to work on-site and travel (to various wind farms/turbines) as needed

Technical training is an asset (knowledge of hydraulic systems or heavy rotating equipment)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Valid driver’s license and passport

Required PPE and gear may weigh up to 40 lbs.
