Role overview

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a UI/UX Designer on a full-time, short-term engagement in the USA. The initial contract length is 3 months, but it is likely to be extended. Our client is a comprehensive tax filing software that offers a wide range of features.

Time zone: U.S. Central Time (CT)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in UX/UI design, graphic design, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma).
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Strong expertise in UI and visual design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to think creatively and solve complex design challenges.

Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes to communicate design concepts, and iterate on design solutions based on feedback and user testing.

• Communicate design ideas, rationale, and solutions effectively to stakeholders, using visual aids, prototypes, and presentations to facilitate understanding and decision-making.

• Collaborate with development, product management, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand user requirements and business objectives, and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing user interface designs.
