About the Role Join Western Digital as a Test Code Engineer responsible for developing test code for new HDD products, implementing test process features, and driving quality and efficiency improvements across domestic and overseas product development and manufacturing test code teams. What You'll Do
- Decide test code specifications and create English test code specifications.
- Develop, improve, and modify test code functions; verify through evaluation tests and prototype testing; apply to mass production.
- Analyze test data and perform failure analysis.
- Improve test processes to enhance quality, reduce test time, improve yield, and increase process efficiency.
- Transfer test code development to overseas mass production sites and collaborate with overseas manufacturing test code teams.
- Collaborate with domestic and overseas product development and manufacturing test code departments. What We're Looking For
- Higher education (technical college or university) or above (高専卒・大卒以上).
- C++ programming development experience.
- Experience in creating program specifications; design and development work experience.
- Proficiency in English (communication in reading/writing emails, specs, and meetings). Japanese business level or higher.
- TOEIC around 700 or higher (as a guideline).
- Nice to have: Embedded programming experience or ability to create program flowcharts. Nice to Have
- Embedded systems programming experience or program flowchart creation experience. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: 想定年収 600万円 ～ 800万円; 月給 29万円以上.
- Bonuses: 資格別定額賞与（年2回）、インセンティブ（年1回）; 裁量労働制を選択時には裁量勤務手当を支給.
- Benefits and allowances: 通勤手当（上限15万円/月）、引越手当（独身者 450,000円、家族帯同 750,000円）、転居・家賃補助（最長6年間）
