The successful candidate will work an evening shift from 11 am to 7 pm and requires availability to work one weekend day.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Support day-to-day Control Centre operations to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Act as a go-to resource for Resource Associates by answering questions and helping resolve issues.
  • Help train and support team members to ensure they understand their roles and expectations.
  • Assist with organizing documentation and keeping procedures up to date.
  • Communicate challenges, updates, and progress to the Manager, Control Centre.
  • Help implement new processes by documenting, training, and supporting the team through change.
  • Work closely with employees and contractors to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and encouragement to help the team perform at their best.
  • Develop decision-making, communication, and people-management skills.
  • Participate in planning discussions and contribute ideas for improving processes and performance.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Experience with dispatch, control centres, or technical environments is an asset, but not required.
  • Someone interested in growing into a leadership role.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable making day-to-day decisions and solving problems.
  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and best practices.
  • Exposure to operations, planning, and process improvement.

Reason for Vacancy: Replacement

Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
