About the Role As a Supply Chain Consultant focused on implementation, you will help customers adopt and run supply chain planning solutions. You’ll analyze planning challenges, co-design solutions, implement and validate the software, and support a smooth go-live, while staying connected with our team and customers across the project lifecycle. What You'll Do
- Find clever planning solutions in collaboration with our solution architects to ensure an impeccable, high-quality implementation.
- Implement the solution from start to finish, together with the customer’s project team.
- Provide expertise during and after implementation.
- Train customers so they get the most of their solution.
- Document the implemented solutions by providing technical descriptions to your fellow consultants and functional notes to the customer.
- Travel to visit customers (approximately 20% of your time); you’ll remain a member of the OMP team and not outsourced. What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree with a specialization in Production Management, Logistics, or similar; strong analytical skills.
- Strong affinity for IT; willingness to learn an entirely new software package.
- Basic programming skills.
- Flexibility to travel.
- Fluency in English and Chinese; ability to work in a multinational customer-driven environment.
- Friendly, open attitude; a born team player. Soft skills: communicative, team player, collaborative in a global context, pragmatic, passionate.
- Hard skills: analytical skills, supply chain planning knowledge, basic programming skills.
- Language skills: English and Chinese required; Dutch/French/German/Spanish are a plus. Nice to Have
