Skills and Competencies
- Approximately 1–4 years of experience in communications, content operations, marketing operations, project coordination, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple assignments, timelines, and dependencies with guidance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and consistent communications
- Familiarity with content-management systems, mass communication tools, project-management platforms, or similar enterprise systems
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and escalate risks appropriately
- Interest in communications technology, measurement, workflow improvement, and AI-enabled tools
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Journalism, English, or a related field
Responsibilities

Supports the editorial calendar and content operations processes that keep Moody's communications moving efficiently from brief through distribution.

Maintain accurate information for assigned content series and campaigns, including production stages, timelines, dependencies, reviewers, distribution dates, and channel requirements

Track content as it moves from brief through production, review, approval, and distribution; follow up on outstanding inputs and flag potential delays or conflicting timelines

Coordinate routine handoffs between the Editorial and Channel Strategy team, creative and design teams, external communications, and other partners, escalating blockers that require senior intervention

Maintain intake templates, briefing materials, channel trafficking guidelines, production trackers, and related operational resources in accordance with established processes

Apply established currency signals and content-management requirements, flag retrieval or retention issues, and support remediation activities related to enterprise search and content accuracy

Support the development and coordination of manager toolkits for major communications and ensure assigned communications clearly identify their purpose, audience, priority, and required action

Prepare calendar information and materials that support coordination across internal, external, and partner channels, and track agreed amplification activities

Use approved AI, automation, and workflow tools to improve personal productivity and support consistent execution of routine communications processes

About the Team

The Communications Platforms and Operations team sits within Corporate Affairs and is responsible for the editorial calendar and content operations backbone that keeps Moody's communications moving efficiently from brief through distribution. The team partners closely with the Editorial and Channel Strategy team, creative and design teams, external communications, and platform partners to ensure enterprise communications are delivered accurately, consistently, and on time. By joining this team, you will contribute to the systems and infrastructure that power communications at a global scale, working at the intersection of content strategy, operational excellence, and emerging technology — including AI-powered tools that are shaping the future of how Moody's connects with its people and stakeholders worldwide.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $71,700.00 - $103,950.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
