Service Engineer

About the Role

Service Engineers at Tetra Pak build trusted relationships with customers and proactively support installations, maintenance, and equipment upgrades. You will work at customer sites, ensure production readiness, and uphold TP safety and quality standards. This role contributes to our mission to protect what’s good for food, people, and the planet.

What You'll Do

• Participate in preparing customer site for installations events, assembling machines and conveyors
• Participate in the installation of relevant rebuild kits according to procedure and reinstate equipment into production environment
• Use TPMS tool to report preventive maintenance, correct work
• Good knowledge and understanding of relevant technical documentation
• Proactively contribute with opportunities and ideas regarding business development of customers
• Execute all work in accordance to OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team
• Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring and promoting good working relationships with the customer and that TP’s reputation is sustained
• What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics, robotics, control & automation engineering or similar
• 3 to 5 years of experience in installations, maintenance and/or repair work, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic experience is strongly desired
• Fluency in technical English and Japanese
• Strong PLC Programming Knowledge
• A valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively
• An attitude to represent Tetra Pak at our customers, such as: Be service-oriented, putting the customer at first place. Team player with high commitment, but with the ability to act decisively if/when needed. Developed problem-solving skills, with an ability to apply structure and priority to duties. Persistent and efficient with a logical/structured way to solve issues
