WHERE YOU CONTRIBUTE
The Senior FP&A Manager is a key finance partner responsible for driving planning, forecasting, and performance management across the Wholesale business. This role provides actionable insights and financial leadership to enable profitable growth, margin protection, and operational efficiency. It partners closely with channel leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial decisions are grounded in robust analysis and aligned with strategic priorities.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, and long-range planning for assigned channels, ensuring alignment with revenue, margin, and cost targets
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Deliver monthly results packs with clear variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior year; highlight risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
- Commercial Decision Support: Provide scenario modelling and ROI analysis for key initiatives such as pricing strategies, promotional plans, channel investments, and new market entries
- Margin & Mix Management: Partner with commercial teams to optimise full-price mix, ASP, and markdown strategies, supporting gross margin improvement
- Cost Control & Operating Leverage: Monitor and manage Opex across channels, driving efficiency and productivity improvements
- KPI Governance & Dashboards: Maintain and enhance reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to provide real-time visibility of key performance metrics
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Sales Planning, Partner Services, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Tech to ensure integrated planning and execution
- Process Improvement & Automation: Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy
KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
Financial & Commercial Acumen
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance (preferred) or related field
- Proven FP&A, financial planning, or commercial finance experience, preferably within footwear, fashion, retail, or a consumer-focused industry
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to understand key drivers of revenue, margin, and profitability
- Ability to drive high-quality financial analysis that supports business decision-making
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing business needs
Data Analysis & Financial Modelling
- Advanced analytical skills with experience working with large, complex data sets
- Ability to combine financial and non-financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, leveraging AI to streamline automation
- Ability to translate complex analysis into succinct actionable insights
- Experience using analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI
Business Partnering & Communication
- Ability to build credibility and strong working relationships with stakeholders both within and outside Finance
- Communicates complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to non-finance audiences
- Confident in influencing discussions and providing recommendations that support commercial decision-making
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines

Workplace & Role Requirements
- Ability to work at a standard computer workstation 40+ hours per week, with or without accommodation

- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills; strong proficiency in Excel
- Experience with planning and reporting systems (e.g., OneStream or similar)
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to link financial outcomes to business drivers across Retail, B2B, and Digital
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to present complex insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Continuous improvement mindset with experience in process optimisation and automation
- Leadership capability to coach and develop analysts (if applicable)
