Senior Database Developer

We're looking for a Senior Database Developer to join the team working on Veeam ONE.

What You’ll Do

• Development and support of structure and database objects, writing queries, and stored procedures (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Optimization of the existing database structure and code
• Modernization and creation of new reports, widgets and dashboards for Veeam ONE, VSPC, and other reporting products
• Reworking the current business logic in order to meet new business requirements
• Working closely with teams of analysts and QA
• Technical leadership and mentoring within the team

Technologies we work with:

• MS SQL, PostgreSQL, pgTAP or analogs, TFS + Git, T-SQL

• What You’ll Bring

• 5 years of working experience

• Experience with MS SQL (must-have) and PostgreSQL

• Solid understanding of relational database design, indexing, transactions, and query execution plans

• Proven experience writing complex queries, scripts, and stored procedures

• Ability to understand someone else's code

• Leadership and mentoring experience

• Responsibility, diligence, discipline, high efficiency, desire to develop, experience in teamwork

• Bonus Skills

• Understanding of backend development (C#) sufficient to discuss technical solutions with backend teams, agree on how work is split between the database and application layers, and read code when needed.
