What You'll Work With

Slalom is seeking a motivated and collaborative consultant to help organizations modernize their product operating models, improve ways of working, and increase the flow of customer value through modern product practices and AI-enabled delivery.

As a Senior Consultant within our Modern Product Organization capability, you will work alongside client leaders and Slalom teams across the Salt Lake City market and broader Mountain West region to support the design and implementation of modern product operating models. You'll help organizations improve how they structure teams, prioritize investments, manage portfolios, and integrate AI into product development and delivery.

This role offers the opportunity to partner with clients across industries while collaborating with Slalom's national Modern Product Organization practice to drive meaningful business outcomes through product transformation and AI-enabled ways of working.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will contribute to client engagements across strategy, design, implementation, and adoption activities. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting product organization assessments to identify gaps, opportunities, and improvement recommendations

• Facilitating stakeholder workshops, working sessions, retrospectives, and alignment meetings

• Helping design and document product operating models, governance frameworks, team structures, and delivery practices

• Developing transformation roadmaps, implementation plans, playbooks, and supporting materials

• Coaching product managers, product owners, delivery teams, and business stakeholders on modern product practices and ways of working

• Supporting pilot initiatives, value stream implementations, and organizational change efforts

• Helping define success metrics, collect performance insights, and measure business outcomes

• Assisting clients in incorporating AI tools and practices into product management, delivery, and decision-making processes

• Contributing to Slalom's thought leadership, capability development, recruiting efforts, and internal knowledge sharing

• What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in product management, agile delivery, product operations, business transformation, consulting, or related disciplines

• Consulting experience in a professional services environment

• Experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or Lean practices

• Experience working on product transformation, operating model, organizational change, or agile transformation initiatives

• Foundational understanding of product operating models and modern product management practices

• Familiarity with agile, lean, and product delivery methodologies

• Exposure to portfolio planning, prioritization, governance, or value management practices

• Interest in and practical experience using AI-enabled tools in product management, delivery, or business operations

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex organizational environments

• Product Management, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Lean, or ICAgile certifications preferred

• Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, the base salary range is 115,000-135,000 + an annual discretionary bonus of 10%. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
