About the Role PSI is seeking a Senior Accountant for Japan to manage full-cycle accounting and ensure compliance within a hybrid work model (2 days in Tokyo/Osaka office, 3 days from home). The role supports local and group finance activities, delivering high-quality financial reporting and enabling informed decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Process daily accounting transactions, including vendor invoices, payments, bank entries, journal postings, and intercompany transactions.
- Maintain accurate records across general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and payroll-related postings.
- Lead monthly and quarterly closing under local GAAP; ensure period-end adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting schedules; align with group accounting policies (IFRS where applicable).
