We are looking for a Runner to be part of our team at The Hoxton, Shoreditch, in our Llama Inn Restaurant.

Llama Inn is a warm, open space with natural wood furniture, tall ceilings, and steel beams. Our cuisine encompasses all things Peru, including ceviche, our famous Lomo Saltado, Cancha and other unique Peruvian fare. Our cocktail and spirit list hails from Peru, with none other than pisco being the star of the show, alongside a creative cocktail menu with unique takes on classics from around the globe. Our wine list breathes Spain and Latin America, with options by the glass and bottle to tantalise any palate. Whether early or late, Llama Inn is a full dining experience for any celebration or occasion.

As a Runner, you will play an important role in supporting the front-of-house team and ensuring that dishes and drinks reach our guests promptly and efficiently. You’ll work closely with the Waiters, Kitchen and wider restaurant team to help deliver a smooth and memorable dining experience.

Job Description

• Support the front-of-house team throughout service, ensuring food and drinks are delivered to the right tables promptly and efficiently
• Help create a memorable guest experience by being attentive, friendly and ready to assist wherever needed
• Act as an important link between the kitchen, bar and floor team, communicating clearly and responding quickly to requests
• Keep the restaurant organised and service areas clean and well stocked, helping the team maintain a smooth and efficient service
• Get to know our menu, products and service standards so you can confidently support the team and answer basic guest questions

Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience in a busy restaurant or bar

• You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience

• Additional Information

• Previous experience in a busy restaurant, bar or hospitality environment is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important
