About the Role Logan Health is seeking an experienced PRN Pediatric Oncology Registered Nurse to support pediatric patients through their treatment journey. The role is based in the Hematology/Oncology Outpatient clinic in Kalispell, Montana, delivering highly specialized outpatient care to children with cancer and blood disorders. What You'll Do
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology-specific infusions.
- Provide patient education and emotional support tailored to each stage of the treatment process.
- Monitor and manage patient symptoms and infusion reactions, collaborating with the broader oncology care team.
- Maintain accurate patient Records and participate in treatment planning. What We're Looking For
- Prior pediatric oncology infusion or inpatient pediatric oncology unit experience is required.
- APHON Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card required.
- Current Montana RN license or a multistate compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
- BSN degree preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position or assigned area(s) preferred.
- Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.
- Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR and/or BLS certification required as dictated by each practice/service line.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to support patients and families compassionately. Compensation & Benefits
