About the Role This RN position at Logan Health's Conrad LTC site collaborates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to provide primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation. The role also provides physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends, while overseeing assigned team members as applicable. Our Mission: Quality, compassionate care for all. What You'll Do

  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients through the use of the nursing process and as applicable to the assigned area(s).
  • Competently provide direct patient care, utilizing established procedures, policies, and RN standards of care. Perform unit-specific competencies, transcribe and implement provider verbal/written orders, document in the electronic health record, and monitor patient conditions.
  • Maintain nursing standards of care and respond to changing workloads and patient conditions by remaining calm, assessing objectively, prioritizing, and seeking assistance as appropriate.
  • Complete patient assessments and reassessments per unit specifications; ensure timely chart reviews and documentation; adhere to infection control and safety policies; dispose of biohazards per protocol; perform environmental cleaning and equipment quality control as required.
  • Identify, evaluate, and report changes in patient conditions; provide patient and family education; precept and/or orient new personnel; participate in continuing education.
  • Cross-train in other nursing areas as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of RN program from an accredited school of nursing; Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with Montana authorization; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in similar medical settings preferred; knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology, and basic clinical skills.
  • CPR and/or BLS certification required; additional certifications as applicable to the service area within required timeframes depending on status/PRN role.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality, OSHA regulations, and safety protocols; excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Competence in computer use and electronic health records; willingness to learn new software as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Additional certifications applicable to assigned areas; cross-training experience in multiple nursing areas.
