As a true Business Owner, you will drive the brand’s overall strategy: you are responsible for portfolio growth while orchestrating future transformation through disruptive innovation. Your role is to ensure operational excellence of brand plans, while identifying and driving growth levers for tomorrow. You act as the strategic bridge between consumer and shopper vision, R&D and financial performance, at local or European scale depending on the brands.
I. Strategic & Business Performance Steering
- Growth Strategy: Define the growth strategy and carry the vision Where to Play / How to Win for the category, aligning local and regional priorities.
- Revenue Management: Define pricing, formats and product mix strategies, especially in mature and complex markets.
- Financial Responsibility: Manage the global P&L of the portfolio. Allocate resources to maximize revenues and profits in the short and long term.
- Business Performance: Lead all brand levers to deliver healthy and profitable growth.
II. Disruptive Innovation & Consumer-First Vision
- Breakthrough Pipeline: Design and manage a robust innovation pipeline from incremental to disruptive to ensure sustainable growth.
- Consumer Approach: Transform deep insights (qualitative and quantitative) into concrete business opportunities. Foster a Data, Mind and Heart culture within the organization.
- Agility & Test-and-Learn: Deploy agile methodologies to quickly test concepts on pilot markets and adjust strategies before large-scale deployment (Scale-up).
III. Transversal Leadership & Execution Excellence
- Orchestra Conductor/Team Leader: Lead and influence cross-functional teams (R&D, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Plants) without direct reporting lines to ensure project fluidity.
- 360° Excellence: Oversee the implementation of brand plans across different levers, including integrated communication campaigns ensuring a seamless omnichannel customer experience, commercial levers in partnership with Sales departments, business governance to deliver annual budgets in close collaboration with supply teams.
- Decision Support: Turn market data complexity into clear operational priorities for top management.
Profile & Skills
Experience required
- Background: 8 to 15 years of marketing experience in FMCG, with proven dual expertise: management of large-scale brands and launch of major innovations.
- Environment: Confirmed experience in international matrix structures, with the ability to navigate between local issues and global strategies.
Hard Skills
- Advanced financial mastery: Ability to manage P&L and complex budgets and justify strategic choices by ROI.
