About the Role The Registered Nurse will provide safe and compassionate care on the General Medical/Surgical Unit in Elmhurst, IL. This full-time night shift role is 36 hours per week (7pm–7am) with every 3rd weekend and holiday track. You will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. What You'll Do
- Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinicians to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes following best practices.
- Work the night shift (7pm–7am) and participate in the schedule that includes every 3rd weekend and holiday, as applicable. What We're Looking For
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing. If ADN is the highest degree, must graduate with BSN within five years of start date (start date effective Sept 1, 2021). Current incumbents with RN Diploma are grandfathered, or RN Diploma if the start date was prior to Sept 1, 2021.
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
- Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association). Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- 1 year of inpatient nursing experience (highly preferred). Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $36.00 - $55.80
