Job title: Quantitative Developer | Trading Team
About the Role As a Quantitative Developer on Jump Trading's Shanghai trading team, you'll work on a core set of technologists building and improving the platforms that drive the trading team. You will collaborate with quantitative researchers to create and improve research, trading infrastructure, scale production systems, maintain the production trading environment, troubleshoot problems, and develop software to automate and improve deployment, configuration, and validation.
What You'll Do
- Full cycle development including researching production systems, writing, testing & debugging code, deploying into the production environment, and ensuring that code is checked into the source control system.
- Direct support of end users, troubleshooting problems and upgrading applications
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, break/fix of production trading system
- Other duties as assigned or needed
What We're Looking For
- Efficient in Python, C++ and able to develop/maintain code for prod applications
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be extremely detail-oriented
- Proven success working with large data sets
- Self-directed and comfortable taking ownership of projects and responsibilities
- Reliable and predictable availability
