Job title: Quantitative Developer | Trading team
About the Role As a quantitative developer, you will collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to architect, build, and maintain the team's research infrastructure and production systems. You will work with quantitative researchers to create and improve research, develop and build trading infrastructure, improve scalability of production systems, and automate deployment, configuration, and validation.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to architect, build, and maintain the team's research infrastructure and production systems.
- Build and improve research pipelines and trading infrastructure, enhance scalability of production systems, and troubleshoot production trading environment.
- Develop and automate deployment, configuration, and validation processes; participate in end-to-end data and software development from research to production.
- Contribute to machine learning development, microstructure research, portfolio optimization, and data pipeline/system management as part of a new team.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience solving challenging problems through coding with real metrics and impact in industry or academia.
- Passion for building efficient, modular software to tackle challenging problems.
- Strong software development skills in Python and/or C++.
- Experience is a plus, but a strong desire to learn and grow is essential.
- Strong learning ability, intellectual curiosity, versatility, and originality, with a pragmatic outlook.
- Ability to reason through quantitative problems and communicate effectively with quantitative researchers.
- Reliable and predictable availability to ensure smooth production operations.
- Over two years of experience working with industrial-grade codebases using C++ is advantageous.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) and distributed large-scale model training is a plus.
