About the Role As a QA Lead at Amber Studio in Manila, you’ll elevate the team’s testing capabilities, set clear goals, track progress, and mentor staff to support career growth. You’ll collaborate with the Project Manager to implement project strategies, manage day-to-day needs with partners, and ensure our product meets industry and company standards across multiple platforms.

What You'll Do

• Set clear goals for team members and track progress; provide support for career growth.
• Assist the Project Manager in implementing vertical strategy on each project.
• Understand and participate in basic budgeting for projects.
• Communicate directly with partners and stakeholders for day-to-day needs.
• Execute test cases and create test plans to ensure coverage and quality across PC, Console, Mobile (iOS/Android), Web, etc.
• Maintain knowledge of platforms (PC, Console, Mobile, Handhelds, Web Tools, JIRA).
• Onboard new employees and create personalized development plans.
• Generate quantitative and qualitative feedback and reports for partners and upper management.
• Conduct monthly evaluations and host 1:1 meetings with direct reports (Test Leads and Testers).
• Create handbooks and training materials to set project standards.
• Train and mentor staff and create development plans for their path of choice.

What We're Looking For

• Strong knowledge of QA processes and methodologies; ability to navigate them with finesse.
• Adaptability and time-management skills.
• Fluent in English with clear communication.
• Ownership mindset for projects, company, and team growth.
• Understanding of clients' business needs at a high level.
• Ability to work across multiple platforms (PC, Console, Mobile iOS/Android, Web Tools) and familiarity with JIRA.
• Experience onboarding new employees and creating development plans.
• Ability to generate actionable feedback and reports for decision-makers.
• Experience conducting monthly evaluations and 1:1 meetings.
• Ability to create training materials and handbooks; mentoring skills.
