Job Description

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Location: Sagamu, Lagos Nigeria

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract (Renewable based on performance)

Industry: Manufacturing/FMCG

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the Senior Project Manager in coordinating projects, tracking deliverables, managing stakeholders, and ensuring timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, vendors, and site teams to ensure timely follow-up and execution.

  • Maintain project trackers, risk/issue logs, documentation, and progress reports.

  • Attend project/site meetings, prepare minutes, and track action points to closure.

  • Support preparation/review of BOQs, cost estimates, measurement take-offs, payment certificates, and variation orders.

  • Support project reporting, documentation, procurement, and general project administration.

Requirements

  • B.Sc./B.Eng. in Civil, Mechanical/Structural Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.

  • 5–10 years' experience in project coordination, project support, quantity surveying, construction, or related fields.

  • Candidates from architectural firms, QS/cost consultancy firms, structural engineering firms, construction, plant installation, or industrial/manufacturing projects are encouraged to apply.

  • Experience with manufacturing plants, factories, industrial facilities, or plant installation projects is highly advantageous.

  • Working knowledge of BOQs, measurement, valuations, payment certificates, and basic contract administration.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong coordination, communication, organisation, and follow-up skills.
