Project Buyer

Location (Hybrid, permanent/full-time): Ningbo

What are your main tasks you can expect?

• Coordinate all procurement-related activities within the project;
• Conduct quotation comparison, supplier screening and evaluation;
• Develop control and assurance plans for supplier quality stability, delivery quantity and timeliness;
• Evaluate and transmit technical documents (including drawings, specifications, etc.);
• Collect information on prices, suppliers, logistics costs, etc., taking into account economical delivery batches and logistics complexity;
• Execute RFQs and evaluate quotations within technical and economic targets;
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules and terms and sign contracts within the established financial framework;
• Establish the decision-making basis for contract award in the procurement table;
• Continuously coordinate capacity and schedules within the supply chain;
• Communicate with international customers and suppliers;
• Execute and take responsibility for value analysis work;
• Responsible for design-to-cost and target cost calculation for new projects;
• Report on project procurement volume budget compliance, target costs, schedules and quality.

What qualifications do you bring with you?

• Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering or Technical Economics related majors;
• At least 3/7 years or more of relevant work experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry;
• Professional skills: Proficient in procurement negotiation skills, contract law, cost accounting and risk management, with solid professional knowledge of materials and products;
• Language skills: Excellent English listening, speaking and writing skills, able to meet international business communication needs;
• Tool application: Proficient in office software such as Excel and PPT; experience with SAP system is preferred;
• Soft skills: Proactive and efficient communication skills, strong requirements understanding and problem identification abilities, good teamwork and organizational coordination skills.
