Join Our Team as a Product Support Intern at Epiroc!

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mining Engineering student to gain hands-on exposure to drilling technologies, mine site operations, and product development within a global mining technology company. As a Product Support Intern, you will work alongside experienced Product Managers, Application Specialists, and R&D teams supporting Epiroc’s Rotary, DTH, and Raisebore product lines.

Through field visits, data analysis, product testing activities, and cross-functional collaboration, you will gain insight into how mining equipment is developed, tested, supported, and continuously improved. This internship provides valuable exposure to product performance evaluation, customer applications, technical training development, and the role innovative technologies play in improving productivity, safety, and sustainability in mining operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Product Managers, Application Specialists, and R&D teams with technical product support activities for Rotary, DTH, and Raisebore products
• Participate in field evaluations, proof-of-concept testing, and product performance studies to support new product development initiatives
• Analyze product performance and operating data to help identify trends, improvement opportunities, and customer application insights
• Assist in maintaining product performance records, test results, and technical documentation
• Support the development and enhancement of technical training materials, presentations, and product knowledge resources
• Participate in mine site visits and customer interactions to gain firsthand exposure to drilling applications and equipment performance in the field
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, R&D, and Customer Centers on projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Prepare summaries and presentations of internship findings, project outcomes, and field observations

Knowledge/Education:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mining Engineering (required)
• Anticipated Fall 2027 graduation date or later
• GPA 3.0 or higher (preferred)

Skills and Abilities:

• Interest in surface or underground mining methods, drilling technologies, and mining equipment applications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze technical or operational data

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments

• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and mining applications

• Customer-focused mindset

• Willingness to travel to mine sites and customer locations as needed

• Demonstrated leadership through coursework, internships, projects, students organizations, or extracurricular activities is a plus
