What are your main tasks you can expect?
Mainly responsible for project product engineering technology at the Grammer Ningbo plant, including new project product development and production support for mass production projects. Maintain and release system-updated product engineering BOM, 3D data, DFMEA, drawings, and other documents; Support VAVE cost reduction activities for mass production projects. Responsible for communicating with customer R&D technical departments and sharing customer technical information internally within the company. Cross-departmental communication within the company; initiate and lead internal product technical change processes. Manage technical communication with lower-tier suppliers to ensure supplier products meet Grammer data and drawing requirements.
What qualifications do you bring with you?
Mechanical engineering or related major, bachelor's degree or above; 8+ years of product R&D experience, with no less than 5 years of seat development experience; Familiar with the interior product development process in the automotive industry, and familiar with injection molding, painting, and assembly processes; Familiar with the manufacturing and assembly processes of automotive interior parts; understanding of IATF/TS16949, and APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC, etc.; Experience in door trim panel development; familiarity with the design and development of metal trim parts such as metal speaker grilles, inner and outer door sill plates, real aluminum trim, and rear sill trim is preferred; Proficient in reading and interpreting GD&T drawings; ability to perform part dimensional tolerance stack-up calculations is preferred; English written and reading proficiency; able to communicate in English via email; Familiar with Microsoft Office; proficient in Excel and PPT for presentation; familiar with CATIA or UG CAD; experience with AutoForm or similar software is preferred; Good communication skills, teamwork, and coordination abilities.
