Marzetti is seeking a Procurement COE Intern to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program!

Over the course of our 12-week program, our interns will gain:

Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:

  • Learn and document procurement business processes and identify opportunities for simplification or improvement.

  • Analyze procurement and operational data to identify trends, exceptions, and improvement opportunities.

  • Partner with Procurement, IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives.

  • Develop reports, analyses, or presentations that support procurement decision-making.

  • Contribute to initiatives that improve procurement efficiency and decision-making

  • Support Procurement Health Check Metrics by investigating exceptions, performing root-cause analysis, and assisting with corrective actions.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program with a focus in: Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is a plus

  • Exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred)

  • Basic understanding of supply chain or procurement concepts

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills demonstrated through extracurricular activities and/or work experience

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills

  • Action-oriented with sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution

  • Resourceful, adaptable, and effective in navigating change and influencing others

  • Works effectively both independently and in team settings
