Job title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
About the Role Logan Health Cut Bank is seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to support our rehabilitation services team in delivering high-quality care to both inpatient and outpatient populations. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans and help patients recover, improve function, and return to daily life with greater strength and independence.
What You'll Do
- Assist with the implementation and progression of individualized treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide physical therapy treatments in accordance with established care plans, department standards, and scope of practice
- Support care for a variety of patient populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Document treatments accurately, including therapy units billed and time associated with patient care
- Communicate patient concerns, changes in condition, and treatment updates promptly and professionally to the supervising Physical Therapist and care team
- Respond effectively to changing patient needs and daily workflow demands while maintaining a calm, organized, and patient-centered approach
- Help promote a safe, efficient, and supportive rehabilitation environment for patients and colleagues
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Montana Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- Minimum one year of experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with familiarity with electronic medical records
- Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain cooperative working relationships with patients, providers, and staff
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings (preferred)
