Location: West Des Moines Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $65,000–$80,000 per year
POSITION OVERVIEW: We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to manage accurate and timely multi-state payroll processing while supporting payroll accounting, tax compliance, reconciliations, PTO administration, and reporting. This role works closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure payroll is processed accurately and employees receive timely and accurate pay.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule
- review payroll for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- support payroll accounting and reconciliations
- manage payroll tax filings and compliance
- maintain PTO records and support PTO administration
- prepare payroll reports and assist with payroll-related audits
- maintain accurate payroll records
