Outside Sales Account Manager - Industrial Component Service and Repair

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, specializes in providing world-class service, repair and re-manufacturing in the areas of electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos and mechanical components for various industries.

We are seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to grow business throughout the Knoxville, TN territory and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity to build an established territory while representing a leader in industrial repair services. You will work with manufacturing and industrial customers to support repairs involving hydraulics, industrial electronics, robotics, servos, and mechanical components.

Home-based within the Knoxville market.

Essential Functions

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan focused on new business and account growth.
• Build and maintain customer relationships throughout the assigned territory.
• Manage prospecting activities including lead generation, cold calling, sales presentations, and closing business.
• Conduct regular in-person visits with customers and prospects.
• Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to achieve sales goals.
• Utilize CRM and sales tools to manage territory activity and opportunities.

Experience, Education and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or a two-year technical degree in an industrial discipline, preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial sales experience preferred, including repair services, MRO, hydraulics, industrial electronics, robotics, servos, or mechanical components.
• Experience with hydraulic repair and rebuilding is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Ability to travel throughout the territory and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
