OT Technology & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, selection and technical governance of OT security solutions independently from IT cyber engineering.
• Define engineering patterns for industrial networks, secure remote access, asset visibility, monitoring, backup and recovery.
• Provide specialist guidance for PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, historian and industrial communication environments.
• Develop OT-specific threat intelligence requirements and translate relevant threats into engineering priorities.
• Lead proofs of concept, technical benchmarking, product assessments and innovation initiatives.
• Build working relationships with universities, research centres, government entities and security providers.
• Coach delivery teams and clusters on secure design, integration constraints and operationally safe deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in automation, electrical engineering, control systems, cyber security, equivalent senior experience accepted.
• Expert knowledge of industrial architectures, protocols, control systems and OT security technologies.
• Ability to assess security benefits, operational impact, interoperability, lifecycle and total cost of ownership.

Experience

• 8+ years in industrial automation, OT engineering or cyber security, including 5+ years in OT security engineering.

• Hands-on experience with industrial networks and major PLC, SCADA or DCS environments.

• Experience leading technology selection, architecture reviews, pilots and multi-site engineering standards.

• Certifications

• GICSP or IEC 62443 strongly preferred.

• GRID, GCIP, CISSP, vendor OT security or industrial automation certifications preferred.
