Job title: Organic Chemistry Lab Student Teaching Assistant I NFWS (26/27)
About the Role This is a student teaching assistant position for currently enrolled students at the University of La Verne. Lab TAs assist the instructor in the proper functioning of the lab during the session and help students follow proper techniques and safety rules while conducting experiments. TAs must be proactive in the lab and model proper laboratory safety at all times, including wearing proper PPE (lab coats, goggles, and appropriate clothing and shoes). This position may be extended to the Spring 2026 semester after evaluation by the lab coordinator based on performance. Fall 2026 lab sections begin 8/24/26 and meet as follows: Mon 1:00PM–5:10PM; Tue 6:00PM–10:10PM; Wed 1:00PM–5:10PM; Thu 1:00PM–5:10PM; Thu 6:00PM–10:10PM. Mandatory Weekly Lab Meeting (Day and Time to be decided). This position is 100% on campus.
