Operations Associate

Corgi Insurance is building the entire insurance industry from the ground up, using AI to design, underwrite, price, and issue insurance directly. Responsibilities

• Take on a broad range of projects—operational, strategic, logistical, and everything in between—and run them end-to-end.
• Triage and execute the constant stream of requests landing on the Head of Ops.
• Build the operational infrastructure that lets us scale headcount without breaking.
• Identify broken or missing elements and fix them before they’re requested.
• Context-switch constantly and operate with discretion across everything you touch.

Requirements

• A track record of building things, side projects, or any initiative that shows you make stuff happen outside of a job description.
• You move fast and get things done. You don’t wait to be told what to do, and you don’t require perfection before shipping.
• You’re comfortable with unglamorous work, such as chasing vendors, fixing logistics, or dealing with HMRC bureaucracies.
• You think structurally and can turn a messy problem into a clear plan.
• You communicate clearly and concisely, in writing and in person.
• Low ego, high agency.
• Bonus points: prior experience at an early-stage startup; background in a high-intensity environment (law, consulting, banking, startup, sport, military); ability to use AI to amplify output while maintaining high standards.
