Purpose of the role The Office Assistant reports to the Branch Manager. You take ownership of the branch environment and the practical support that keeps making life easy for our clients and teams. You make sure the branch is clean, organised and ready for clients every day, so that every person who walks through the door experiences Unifi at its best
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors warmly, and guide them to the right person or queue
- Keep the reception and client waiting areas clean, tidy and well organised throughout the day
- Clean the branch daily, including offices, client areas, kitchens and bathrooms
- Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and responsibly each day
- Check and replenish cleaning and bathroom supplies before they run out
- Keep the outdoor areas around the branch neat and presentable
- Report maintenance or repair needs timely to the Branch Manager
- Follow and maintain consistently high standards and complete every task with care
- Coordinate courier and messenger services for the branch
- Deliver documents and complete work-related errands when required
- File and organise office documents and supplies so that the team can find what they need easily
- Support other branch tasks when needed, including basic administration and helping the team during busy periods
- Build respectful, dependable relationships with colleagues and regular clients to help the branch run smoothly
- Speak up when something is not working and share practical feedback to improve how we operate

Requirements
- Senior/Secondary School Certificate required
- Reliable and consistent, with a strong sense of responsibility with a lets get it done attitude
- Comfortable following set processes and systems accurately
- Able to carry out the practical cleaning, lifting and movement required for the role
- Comfortable working independently and contributing as part of a team
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming environment, with strong attention to detail
- Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities as the branch needs them
- A valid license is advantageous
