Job Title: NDT Engineer

Location: Fano Office (Italy)

Mission

• Follow NDT (Non Destructive testing) through all its aspects from bid phase when NDT philosophy has to be set to engineering execution at Project award when procedures have to be qualified, looking at solutions of high quality level and high productivity
• Promote and support new NDT solutions, techniques and consumables to achieve the most competitive and strategic results

Tasks

The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.

Tasks include:

• Provide technical expertise on all NDT matters as required on projects
• Assist and support the NDT Coordinator or the project teams on all NDT matters
• Prepare NDT procedures for assigned project
• Review clients specifications and scopes of work, examine pipe metallurgy and prepare detailed NDT procedures to achieve maximum productivity in accordance with specified quality
• Review subcontractors tender documents and technical qualifications
• Assist QHSE Department on subcontractor assessments/audits
• Review and approve subcontractors NDT submissions
• Ensure that records are maintained for all NDT activities to demonstrate achievement of client requirements
• Maintain departmental project NDT files so that information is readily available to other department members

What are we looking for?

Education: NDT certification (Level II)

Experience: At least 5 years of professional hands-on experience as an NDT Engineer within oil and gas industry

Languages: English Language skills required

Technical Skills: phased array methodologies, ultrasonic methodology, zonal discrimination, conventional ndt, pipelaying, NDT/TFM/UT/RT/MT/PT
