Position: Murex Post-Trade & Pre-Trade Specialist Experience: 5+ Years Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Chennai Onboarding: Immediate or as per availability Job Type: Contract / Full-time Work Mode: Onsite (Indian Shift: 10 AM – 7 PM IST)

We are looking for a skilled Murex Post-Trade & Pre-Trade Consultant to join our Financial Services practice. The role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in Murex post-trade workflows, pre-trade configuration, and trade lifecycle management, supporting integration with front-office systems and downstream operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support Murex post-trade workflows including trade validation, confirmation, settlement, and reporting.
• Work on pre-trade configuration ensuring integration with trading desks and risk systems.
• Manage and optimize the DataDictionary and MxML Exchange (MXML) workflows.
• Support and enhance OSP (Open Settlement Protocol) implementations for trade and settlement messaging.
• Collaborate with business users, traders, and downstream teams to gather requirements and deliver functional/technical solutions.
• Perform testing (SIT/UAT), troubleshooting, and production support for trade lifecycle processes.
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for implemented solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience on the Murex platform (v3 preferred).
• Strong hands-on expertise in Post-trade workflows, DataDictionary, and MxML Exchange.
• Good understanding of Front Office / Pre-Trade configuration.
• Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle management (FO to BO to Settlement).
• Familiarity with financial products: FX, Rates, Credit, and Derivatives.
• Experience with SQL/Unix for troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to large-scale Murex implementations and cross-functional collaboration.

• Knowledge of integration with risk, operations, and finance systems.
