Job title: Mobile Software Engineer (React Native)
About the Role Fashion Nova is building a world-class engineering team and seeks a Mobile Software Engineer with strong React Native experience to design and build high-performance mobile apps for iOS and Android. You’ll shape mobile architecture, deliver polished user experiences, and collaborate with product, design, and platform teams.
What You'll Do
- Build pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs across iOS and Android
- Architect and develop reusable, scalable UI components
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Leverage native APIs for deep platform integrations
- Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
- Write clean, well-documented code and maintain automated test coverage
- Partner with product and design to deliver innovative mobile experiences
- Engage with the open-source community to help improve mission-critical tooling
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience with React and/or React Native
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (ES6+)
- Experience building testable, maintainable codebases and APIs
- Solid understanding of third-party dependencies and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with native build tools
- Experience with automated testing
- Knowledge of mobile performance, memory management, and multithreading
Nice to Have
- Experience with APIs, GraphQL, Firebase
- Exposure to Swift and/or Kotlin
- App Store and Google Play publishing experience
- CI/CD pipelines, mobile automation infrastructure
