We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team and help drive operational excellence through safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance execution.

The Opportunity

As Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of mechanical technicians and contractors to ensure the safe and effective execution of both planned and unplanned maintenance activities. Reporting to the Shift Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, supporting plant operations, and ensuring maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will supervise a team of four Mechanical Maintenance Technicians and work closely with Operations, Reliability, Engineering, and external service providers to support the performance of a complex chemical manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety, Quality & Compliance
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all maintenance activities are executed in full compliance with Corbion's EHS standards, policies, and procedures. Promote safe work practices and actively participate in site safety initiatives and improvement programs. Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, including ISO standards and regulatory requirements. Contribute to risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation.
• Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
• Plan and coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and contractor resources to support effective maintenance execution. Ensure scheduled maintenance activities are completed according to plan and prioritize resources to address operational requirements. Support contractor selection and supervision to ensure quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Raise and coordinate purchase requisitions for mechanical spare parts, services, and maintenance materials to ensure timely availability.
• Maintenance Execution & Equipment Reliability
• Lead maintenance technicians and contractors in the execution of preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities. Coordinate maintenance work related to equipment installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, shutdowns, turnarounds, and plant outages. Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.
