As an MCO Operations Lead, you will drive the execution, governance, and performance management of the Electronics Material Cost Optimization (MCO) roadmap. You will act as the key link between Engineering, Purchasing, Program Management, Finance, and MCO teams to ensure cost optimization opportunities move efficiently from identification through implementation and financial realization. Your work will help accelerate savings delivery, improve operational visibility, and support business performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and governance of the Electronics Material Cost Optimization (MCO) roadmap.

• Manage and maintain MCO opportunities within LearPro and Foundry to ensure data accuracy and progress visibility.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive implementation of cost optimization initiatives.

• Monitor roadmap performance, implementation status, and savings achievement against targets.

• Conduct financial booking reviews with Controllers to ensure accurate savings validation and reporting.

• Own weekly, monthly, and executive-level reporting for MCO performance and key initiatives.

• Identify, track, and escalate roadblocks that impact implementation timelines and financial results.

• Analyze funnel performance metrics and recommend actions to improve conversion and execution velocity.

• Facilitate alignment between Engineering, Purchasing, Program Management, Finance, and MCO stakeholders.

• Drive accountability and follow-through to ensure timely closure of actions and escalations.

• Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience in automotive electronics, product engineering, cost engineering, purchasing, program management, product development, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of automotive electronic products, including PCBs, semiconductors, passive components, connectors, and electromechanical systems.

• Experience applying value engineering, design-to-cost, or cost optimization methodologies in a technical environment.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Foundry, LearPro, Power BI, or similar analytics tools is an advantage.
