Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Ras Al-Khaimah, UAE

Job Purpose To maintain production machines and utilities in safe, reliable, and efficient operating condition by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machine breakdowns, supporting root-cause analysis, and following approved maintenance and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Attend breakdowns of injection moulding, blow moulding, EBM/IBM, printing, and auxiliary equipment

Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, inspections, and component replacements as per approved checklists

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults

Maintain and support compressors, air dryers, chillers, pumps, and cooling-water systems

Inspect and troubleshoot motors, sensors, control panels, contactors, starters, VFDs/servos, PLC/HMI systems, and interlocks, as applicable

Maintain hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, pneumatic systems, solenoid valves, and pressure circuits
-
Follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Permit to Work (PTW), PPE, electrical isolation, and machine guarding

Maintain maintenance job cards, spare-parts consumption records, and shift handover documentation

Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce repeated machine breakdowns

Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager for spare parts, major repairs, and technical issues

Required Skills and Experience
-
2–6 years of experience in industrial maintenance; plastic manufacturing experience is preferred

Knowledge of injection moulding, blow moulding, EBM/IBM machines, and related auxiliary equipment

Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of bearings, gearboxes, couplings, alignment, lubrication, motors, sensors, and control circuits

Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Basic knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD/servo systems, and automation components
-
Ability to use a multimeter and other approved testing equipment safely

Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, teamwork, and documentation skills
-
Strong commitment to workplace safety and preventive maintenance procedures
