Maintenance Team Member - Part Time

We’re looking for a practical and reliable Maintenance Team Member on a part-time basis to join our team at Novotel Birmingham Centre. You’ll help maintain a safe, welcoming and well-presented hotel environment for both guests and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

Complete general maintenance repairs and rectify defects.

Undertake painting and decorating works.

Perform routine checks across bedrooms and public areas.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests.

Support the wider team in maintaining hotel standards and compliance.

About You
-
Previous hotel maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.

Experience in DIY, maintenance, painting or decorating is welcomed.

Good practical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to carry out basic repairs safely and effectively.

Reliable, flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
