About the Role Ascom is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform on-site maintenance and inspections of our healthcare technology solutions. You will prepare, execute and report on maintenance tasks, and collaborate to ensure rapid incident resolution. The role sits in a close-knit onsite team and is evolving toward a hybrid maintenance‑ and service‑oriented position. What You'll Do
- Primary: Perform preventive and, where possible, corrective maintenance; carry out maintenance and inspections according to established instruction lists
- Prepare maintenance work carefully and report findings in a correct and structured manner
- On-site signal/identify technical issues and resolve them where possible
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and quick incident resolution
- Be part of an onsite team of about 22 maintenance and corrective professionals across the Netherlands
- Future participation in consignation/on‑call services
- Develop knowledge in both systems and service; take responsibility for own work and customer installations; move toward a combined maintenance and service role What We're Looking For
- MBO+ werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur in IT, met affiniteit voor IT en/of elektronica
- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en klantgerichte instelling
- Analytisch vermogen en leergierige houding
- Goede administratieve vaardigheden en ervaring met schriftelijke rapportage
- Vermogen om goed door te vragen en informatie zorgvuldig vast te leggen
- Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal
- Basiskennis van de Engelse taal (voor technische documentatie)
- Ervaring met zorgtechnologie is een pré, geen vereiste Nice to Have
- Zorgtechnologie-ervaring is een pré, maar geen vereiste Compensation & Benefits
- Salaris start in schaal 7 van de CAO Metaal & Techniek (Installatiebedrijf)
