About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Intern to join our team. This entry-level, paid role supports the efficient and effective logistics operations for our Australian and New Zealand businesses. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager, Logistics, assisting in day-to-day vendor coordination, inventory tracking, and boutique support across both countries.
This role requires a foundational understanding of logistics principles, meticulous attention to detail, a high level of discipline in inventory management to support stock accuracy, and a proactive attitude toward learning.
Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management:
- Assist as a point of contact for our third-party reverse logistics vendor, helping to monitor adherence to SLAs and performance metrics.
- Support the monitoring of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, reticketing, and dispatch records.
- Assist in collaborating with the vendor to monitor progress, ensure deadlines are respected, and support the resolution of operational issues.
- Help collate data for regular performance reviews and audits of warehouse operations.
Logistics Operations:
- Assist in tracking end-to-end logistics processes, from inbound shipments to boutique deliveries and outbound re-exports.
- Support the optimisation of transportation routes and methods to minimise costs and transit times.
- Monitor inventory movements at the warehouse to assist with accurate stock reconciliation.
- CITES Applications: Coordinate CITES applications and documentation, with support from the freight forwarder, ensuring all requirements are completed prior to shipment.
- Support logistics coordination for new boutique set-ups, product launches, promotions, events, sales, seasonal campaigns, and pop-ups.
- Assist in maintaining logistics policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Boutique Support:
- Help ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to boutiques across Australia and New Zealand.
- Assist in addressing routine logistics-related queries or issues from boutiques promptly and effectively.
- Support boutique managers and back-of-house teams under the guidance of the logistics team.
Reporting, Analysis & Documentation:
- Assist in generating regular reports on logistics performance, including delivery times and inventory accuracy.
- Support costing, budgeting, and forecasting data collation for logistics operations.
- Help prepare and update SOPs and procedure manuals for internal use.
Compliance:
- Assist in ensuring all logistics activities comply with internal policies and procedures.
Skills and Experience:
- Currently studying towards or a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong foundational understanding of logistics principles and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, consistent, reliable, and accountable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), with the ability to learn and implement AI tools and automation solutions using Power Automate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organised with strong time-management skills.
Desirable:

Experience or interest in the retail or luxury goods sector.
