Job Summary

Mercor is hiring experienced Legal / Compliance professionals to evaluate AI-generated work products, including documents, spreadsheets and slide decks. The role involves applying your professional expertise to assess accuracy, quality, rigor and presentation, while providing structured feedback to improve AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated work products against domain-specific quality standards.

• Review documents, spreadsheets and presentation decks for accuracy and quality.

• Identify factual, aesthetic and presentation errors.

• Assess AI-generated outputs using defined evaluation rubrics.

• Provide clear and structured written feedback.

• Apply professional Legal / Compliance expertise to each evaluation.

• Maintain consistency and quality across assigned projects.

• Required Qualifications & Skills

• Must-Haves

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Legal / Compliance.

• Native or professional fluency in English.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Strong proficiency in Google Workspace.

• Strong knowledge of Google Slides and/or PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

• Preferred

• Master’s degree or higher from a reputable institution.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to critically assess professional work.

• Work Arrangement

• Fully remote.

• Flexible working schedule.

• Independent contractor engagement.

• Hourly project-based work.

• Projects may be extended, shortened or concluded early depending on requirements and performance.

• Work does not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client or institution.

• Payment

• Mercor states that payments are made weekly through Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered.

• Monthly equivalent: ₹12.18 Lakh – ₹18.27 Lakh per month, calculated from the advertised $80–$120/hour rate at 160 paid hours per month.

• Actual earnings will depend on the number of hours/projects worked, applicable exchange rates and payment-related charges.
