Position Summary

We are seeking a recognized expert in Global Inbound Logistics to lead our inbound logistics CIP project and Insights provider based in our operation office in Suzhou or Shenzhen. This role is pivotal in managing our logistics control tower, overseeing the seamless flow of goods from our global suppliers, with a strong focus on the insights and management of Global Inbound Continuous Improvement Projects across the Operations organization. The ideal candidate will combine deep subject-matter expertise with exceptional hands-on business analysis and data/AI capabilities to drive operational efficiency, optimize decision-making, reduce costs, and enhance end-to-end supply chain visibility. You will be a key player in managing carrier relationships, leading critical logistics projects, and shaping the future of our transportation network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbound & Control Tower Operations: Oversee end-to-end global inbound transportation from suppliers to Logitech DCs. Manage day-to-day control tower operations to ensure on-time delivery, visibility, and exception resolution.

  • Continuous Improvement Projects (CIPs): Lead inbound supply chain optimization initiatives (network design, lead time reduction, container utilization, and landed cost control) to maximize operational efficiency and achieve cost targets.

  • Practical Business Analysis & Analytics: Perform hands-on, practical business analysis to translate complex logistics data into actionable operational strategies. Leverage advanced analytics, AI tools, and Power BI dashboards to evaluate network performance, maintain EDI data quality, improve ETA accuracy, and support strategic decision-making.

  • Partner & Carrier Governance: Manage 3PL/4PL freight forwarders across all transport modes. Drive vendor evaluations, scorecard reviews (MBR/QBR), onboarding, SLA compliance, and service improvements.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Global Planning, Logistics Procurement, RCCs, and Manufacturing Operations to align shipping plans, optimize mode selection, and mitigate supply disruptions.

  • Project Execution & Process Innovation: Direct logistics projects using tools like Asana to track milestones and status. Drive long-term process optimization beyond daily operational firefighting while fostering strong teamwork and fresh perspectives.

  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in global logistics or transportation management, with demonstrated expert-level knowledge of end-to-end inbound logistics.

  • Proven experience operating within or leading an end-to-end logistics control tower.

  • Deep expertise and hands-on operational experience with the Global logistics market, including carrier networks, customs, and regulatory landscapes.

  • Strong hands-on business analysis capabilities, with proven proficiency in building actionable dashboards/reports (e.g., Asana) and leveraging quantitative data to solve logistics challenges.

  • Track record of driving mid-term and long-term process optimization and strategic CIPs rather than focusing strictly on daily operational firefighting.

  • Demonstrated ability to bring fresh perspectives, foster collaboration, and partner effectively across cross-functional global teams.

  • Solid financial acumen with experience in budget management, landed cost modeling, and freight audit support.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the practical application of AI in supply chain management or logistics.

  • Proficiency in Project Management: PMP certified and project software skill user, specifically Asana.

  • Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSCP).

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume global organization.
