About the Role

Lead Developer at Reaktor in Turku, working with the full software development lifecycle in a hybrid setting. You’ll help the team succeed, maintain high-quality delivery, and collaborate with client teams to solve human problems with a holistic approach.

What You'll Do

• Be the first point of contact for the client when it comes to technical questions or the quality of the delivery.

• Work with the client’s technology and business teams, facilitating collaboration between different stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.

• Implement new features across front-end applications, back-end servers, and/or databases, and ensure the necessary infrastructure supports the team’s work.

• Improve the team’s ways of working by empowering them to discover optimal workflows and enabling a healthy work-life balance.

• Build relationships with the client to ensure future collaboration.

• Help the team adopt and follow agile practices.

• What We're Looking For

• Experience across Back End, Front End, and DevOps.

• Typically a minimum of eight years of relevant work experience.

• Solid understanding and experience of agile project management principles.

• Previous team-lead and consulting experience.

• Experience working with several client stakeholders to solve complex problems.

• Experience with at least one server-side language; many projects currently use TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js, but Java/Scala/Kotlin, Clojure, and Python are also used.

• Strong knowledge of at least one client-side language/framework; commonly TypeScript/JavaScript and React; for mobile, Swift, Java/Scala/Kotlin, or TypeScript/JavaScript React Native.

• Skills to create new back-end services and tweak CI/CD pipelines.

• Know-how on databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).

• Fluent Finnish and English (verbal and written).

• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup (office or client premises).
