Our client, a top-tier co-educational group of schools (Nursery, Primary, and Secondary) in Nigeria, is seeking a creative and energetic Junior Media & Social Media Lead to drive its digital presence and online community engagement.
In this role, you will be the visual storyteller for the school capturing daily campus life, showcasing academic and co-curricular achievements, managing digital platforms, and executing campaigns that boost enrollment and strengthen parent and alumni engagement.
Responsibilities

Content Creation & Photography: Plan, capture, and edit high-quality visual content (photos, short-form video/Reels/TikToks, graphics) covering campus events, sports, academic achievements, and daily school life.

Social Media & Channel Management: Manage day-to-day posts, stories, and updates across all official social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, X).

Digital Communication: Write and design engaging copy for social media, digital newsletters, website updates, and prospective parent announcements.

Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual assets and messaging align with the school's brand identity, values, and prestige.

Content Calendar: Maintain an active editorial calendar tied to the school’s academic term events, admissions cycles, and key educational awareness days.

Community Engagement: Monitor comments, direct messages, and inquiries, responding professionally or routing to admissions/administration when necessary.

Analytics & Reporting: Track key social media metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and use insights to optimize future marketing campaigns.

Collaboration: Partner with school leadership, academic departments, and event coordinators to ensure comprehensive media coverage of school activities.

Must have skills

Eye for photography, video framing, and clean design suited for a premium brand.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong attention to grammar and tone.
