What you will do

As a Trading Developer Intern, you will join ExxonMobil's Global Trading organization and support the Front Office Trading team. The team develops applications, data tools, and analytical solutions that help trading, commercial, risk, and analytics teams make informed decisions in global energy markets.

You will work on meaningful projects supporting LNG and other commodity trading activities. With guidance from experienced developers, you will learn how technology, data, and market insights come together in a fast-paced trading environment.

About You

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Be preferably in your penultimate year of undergraduate study.
• Be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline
• Have a strong academic record and a genuine interest in technology, data, energy markets, or commodity trading.
• Proficient in a programming language such as Python, C#, or C++ and have working knowledge of developer processes and tools such as version control and CI/CD
• Demonstrate strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Demonstrate analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Show an interest in physical commodities and financial markets
• Be able to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in an international team environment
• Demonstrate leadership capability

Relevant work experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
