About the Role Jump Trading Group's global High Performance Computing team is looking to add a Production Engineer in its London office. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining high-performance compute and storage systems to support data pipelines and quantitative research, with emphasis on performance, reliability, and scale. The ideal candidate is hands-on with Linux environments and has a strong software development background to support customized HPC infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, maintain, and support high performance compute and storage systems
- Implement and support performance monitoring and fault monitoring systems
- Monitor systems and storage performance, up to and including network components
- Build tooling to compile, package, install, and upgrade software and operating system components at scale
