About the Role Lees-McRae College is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to support the Facilities team. The role involves cleaning and maintaining all campus facilities, performing linen services as needed, and ensuring safe operations by using proper PPE. What You'll Do
- Clean assigned areas with cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease
- Gather and dispose of trash; perform linen service as required
- Operate floors care tasks including buffing, polishing, stripping, and refinishing as needed
- Vacuum and sweep floor surfaces; assist other parts of the facilities team as required
- Use appropriate PPE and follow safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred; valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks; ability to move around campus and handle cleaning chemicals
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds (occasional) and up to 10 pounds frequently; comfortable with extended periods of standing and walking
- Comfortable working in a setting requiring use of PPE and adherence to safety guidelines
