Job title: Hem/Onc APP Hospitalist – Logan Health Medical Center (Kalispell, MT)
About the Role Hem/Onc APP Hospitalist (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) will join Logan Health Medical Center's hospitalist team to provide high-quality inpatient care for adult oncology patients. The role emphasizes continuity, coordination, and clinical excellence within a regional medical center.
What You'll Do
- 7 on / 7 off schedule with night call (nights by phone only); Day shift
- Monday – Friday Symptom Support clinic providing same-day access to established Hem/Onc patients
- Daily rounding, ongoing patient management, and discharges for hospitalized Hem/Onc patients
- Collaborate with oncology physicians and the inpatient hospitalist service
- Assist with care planning, symptom management, and supportive therapies
- Participate in coordination of care with outpatient cancer services
- Contribute to quality initiatives and program development
What We're Looking For
- NP or PA with current Montana licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in Hematology/Oncology or Hospital Medicine preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and team-based care skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Nice to Have
- Experience coordinating care across inpatient and outpatient oncology services (preferred but not required)
