A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a Health & Safety (H&S) Site Supervisor, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of safety measures on-site. You will support the Health & Safety Manager by providing practical guidance, monitoring field operations, and reinforcing safe behaviors among the workforce. Imagine contributing to the project lifecycle by assisting with risk assessments, conducting inspections, and coordinating H&S activities, all while being the key point of contact for H&S matters within the site team. Your proactive approach will help create a safe working environment, allowing all project activities to proceed smoothly.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Monitor compliance with preventive activities related to work-related risks, ensuring effective implementation and adapting to both anticipated and unforeseen risks.
- Intervene promptly when observing unsafe acts or conditions, providing necessary guidance for immediate corrective actions.
- Inspect tools, materials, and methods used on-site, aiming to prevent accidents and maintain regulatory compliance with applicable laws.
- Lead by example, promoting safe behaviors and facilitating H&S communication through meetings, safety tours, and site visits.
- Encourage the use of Site Hazard Observation Cards among team members and ensure proper tracking of safety observations.
What You Bring
- You are trained as a Senior Technician in occupational risk prevention, with solid knowledge of applicable legislation.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in occupational risk prevention, particularly in energy projects, with a solid understanding of electrical risks and works at height.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and evaluate occupational risks effectively.
- You have excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, enabling clear interactions with workers, supervisors, and contractors.
- You are results-oriented, capable of implementing preventive measures effectively while collaborating with various departments.
